PATTERN-SEEKING ANIMALS, die kalifornische Band um Ted Leonard (Leadgesang & Gitarre), Jimmy Keegan (Schlagzeug & Gesang), Dave Meros (Bass) und John Boegehold (Keyboards), kündigen das dritte Studioalbum mit dem Titel „Only Passing Through“ an. Es wird am 1. April 2022 über InsideOutMusic veröffentlicht. Das Album ist der Nachfolger des von der Kritik gefeierten Albums „Prehensile Tales“ aus dem Jahr 2020.
„Only Passing Through, unser drittes Album knüpft dort an, wo Prehensile Tales aufgehört hat, macht aber im weiteren Verlauf bald mehrere stilistische Umwege. Es hat allen Beteiligten viel Spaß gemacht, dieses Album zu machen, und wir freuen uns alle darauf, endlich gehört zu werden“, sagt John Bögehold.
„Dieses neue Album schöpft aus vielen verschiedenen Quellen und spornt uns alle an, unser Bestes zu geben. Wir mussten alle ziemlich tief in die Kiste greifen, um den richtigen Geist jedes Songs auszudrücken. Es wäre völlig unzureichend, es Prog zu nennen. Die Musik hat viele Wurzeln, und dennoch gibt es immer noch einen sehr ausgeprägten Sound, der sich durch das gesamte Album zieht. Ich bin sehr stolz auf dieses Album und freue mich darauf, dass die Leute es hören!“, so Jimmy Keegan.

PATTERN-SEEKING ANIMALS, the California-based band featuring Ted Leonard (lead vocals & guitars), Jimmy Keegan (drums & vocals), Dave Meros (bass) and John Boegehold (keyboards), are pleased to announce the band’s third studio album titled Only Passing Through, to be released through InsideOutMusic on April 1st, 2022.
